Breakfast in bed

It was only the end of my porridge bowl but Bailey did have his breakfast in bed this morning. And that was even after he had woken me up at ten to four, presumably because the wind had woken him and he had decided that he was lonely.

Into school to put the final touches to arrangements for Head Teachers from 6 of our feeder primaries visiting to see how their former students had settled. All went well and the students were stars. Supervision of students who had not been stars over lunch and then a planning meeting with 2 colleagues on something for the department which was a good use of shared brain power. And a parent meeting to finish.

My cancelled hair appointment meant that I could get a few more jobs done before coming home to a Bailey-greeting. A walk and tea and a bit of marking and then a plan seen through with the bestest friend for next weekend. Definitely something to look forward to.
