Blood, Hounds and Hearts

THURSDAY

Walked from Waterloo to the Post Office Museum at Mount Pleasant and had a ride on the Mail Rail - part of a six-and-a-half mile underground railway built to transport mail under the capital's streets (extra).

Then walked down to Bankside via St Paul's and the roof terrace at One New Change and across the Millennium Bridge (12:54 hrs) where I had a blipsnap with, and almost bumped into, AMS - see extra.

Walked back to Lambeth and, on the way, saw Andrea McLean chatting to fans outside the ITV studios. I asked her for a photo and she was happy to oblige (extra).

Then I called in at the hotel for a shower and went and off to have a look around the Garden Museum next door to Lambeth  Palace and then had an early dinner at the Novotel opposite.

After dinner I walked to London Bridge to the  Old Operating Theatre Museum  (main blip) to hear a lecture by Thomas Morris entitled Blood, Hounds and Hearts.

Finally walked back to the Park Plaza at Albert Embankment.

Ticked a few more things on my list
31,852 steps.
24.33 km
