Wiegelia

It is October.  
I had to remind myself of that today when I went outside as my wiegelia is flowering beautifully! It is totally out of sync with where it ought to be in the cycle.  The other one is happily producing its seeds, but this one still flowers.
A bright spot in my outside space - but very weird.
