Golden light

A golden light was suffusing the skies this evening and l just managed to catch the sun setting on the dome of the building in the local park. I am keeping an eye out for the Draconid meteor display which hopefully we may be able to see early this evening.
On another note new figures this week revealed that London's traffic moves at an average of 16.5 miles per hour on the outskirts and 7.4 in town, slower than in Victorian times.
We get caught up in it from time to time (once it took us 3 hours to do 10 miles, a journey we would normally do in 20 minutes).
Today was one of those days coming back to London from Deal, fine until we get near London and grind to a halt and the whole journey took 3 hours instead of an hour 40 minutes. Needless to say we can eat out on the money collected in the "naughty word jar" whilst sitting in that jam!
