Déjà vu

I've had breakfast here twice this year already, in June and again in August (extra). When you get off or are about to get on the Portsmouth Ferry it's a good place to have breakfast. Today's blip has the tide out like the June picture but it's not quite a sunny as either of the two pictures. The plan for this birthday treat is to see Brittany out of season to get a feel for the place when there is less sun and tourists.

From Saint-Malo we cycled over the Rance barrage (a bit scary) and into Dinard to look round and visit the market. From Dinard we cycled down long the Rance valley to Dinan (extras), which we also explored a bit.

Finally we met up with my mother-in-law at a supermarket car park and we then drove the rest of the way to the south her house for the night. Tomorrow we are going for lunch to a good Crêperie with the family for our birthdays.
