More Montreal

September 24th - Temp 30-33

There is a heat warning in Quebec today. Temp reaching 33 with a humid value that will make it feel like 40. 
We get out as early as we can and go on a bus tour to see the city. We had a look round the impressive St Joesphs Oratory (in extras...maybe too many steps for a hot day)
In the blip is the Montreal Olympic Stadium, taken from the top of Mont Royal. 
After a late brunch, we went to check availablity of the Lachine Rapids jet-boat tour. Luckily, we get a place at 16.00m which is good as the heat today is punishing.
The jet-boat tour was one of the highlights of the holiday, impossible to take blips as we were both soaked to the skin. We were both unprepared with the force that the waves hit you, and sometimes we struggled to get a breath, but on a hot day it was very, very refreshing.
