Wadi Rum

We had a 4 hour tour with a Bedouin driver in the Wadi Rum in the back of an open landcruiser. The desert valley is absolutely beautiful. And we reflected on the life and adventures of Lawrence of Arabia, and even stopped off at the spot where Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif filmed a desert scene. Extras show some of the rest of the scenery. The colours are fantastic. And the 2000 year old rock art of the Nabateans is fascinating,  I particularly loved the feet (see extra). And the day finished with a sunset over the Dead Sea, where we continue our adventure tomorrow.

Oh, and we did walk up to the top of that dune, but goodness, it was hard work!
