Blipping Forty

River Clyde

Today didn't quite work out as expected.  We had planned a walk with mum and dad in the Campsies but for a variety of reasons, including a major road closure & a breakdown in communication, we ended up walking in the Kirkpatrick Hills instead and were treated to some glorious views of the Clyde.  The main blip is the view towards Glasgow and the extra, the view down the estuary.  We were fortunate to stay dry despite the showers we could see passing on the other side of the river.  Home tomorrow, will be glad to get back.  It has been a fractious & stressful visit......!
