Dartrey

I was in Monaghan this weekend, staying in a gate lodge outside of town and on an old estate called Dartrey. It's lovely and secluded and only 15 minutes from sprawling meadows and a gorgeous lake. I was in my element. We went for a walk to cure our wine-enduced headaches and boy did it work. There's something very special about seeing deer in their natural element, sadly my little lens hardly picked them up so I don't have a picture to show you!
But this will do, I liked the dark foreground and the true colours coming through from the background.

Back to the grindstone now ;)
