At Last!

I've finally made my tomato sauce. It hasn't turned out as I expected - more a soup than a sauce and it's lighter in colour than I thought it would be. It smells delicious though although I haven't yet tasted it; I'm still not fully recovered from yesterday. My husband has tasted it and says it's 'just right'. He assures me he's not just saying that because I made it but "the proof of the pudding etc". I'll find out what it's like when we use it in cooking.
