Golden Acre

Suggested to my my friend Elaine that we met at Golden Acre for a walk this morning. It's about a midway point to where we both live.
We did a couple of laps and had a coffee sat outside in the sunshine.
Lovely to spend time walking and talking to help her come to terms with the last ten months.
She was especially pleased how Friday's events went.
We talked about managing money, time and solitary eating.
We always met up weekly and are resuming that custom, starting on Thursday.
We made plans to go the theatre and other events we used to enjoy together.
She went on her way to meet other friends for Sunday lunch and l came home and made soup for me and Mr P who had been running around Fewston Reservoir.
Hope to do a bit more garden tidying this afternoon but just noticed a grey sky looming.
