Giles & Family

Having arrived at Ipswich Marina we had to pop into town to pick up some supplies. This proved quite challenging. En route we passed this statue which I hadn't seen before. On the side it reads: "The famous Giles Family was unveiled by Warren Mitchell. 4th September 1993. To honour Carl Giles OBE for his long standing association with Ipswich and 50 years with Express Newspapers as Britain's best loved cartoonist"
