Colchicum 'Waterlily'

After a somewhat sleepless night courtesy of false fire alarm at the hotel and a bed with springs determined to dig into all the wrong places we headed off early to RHS Wisley to have a look at some of their plants and water features. This plant caught my eye, they do indeed look like water lilies, hoping to find a corner for some in our new design.

Once home we had a play with string and canes and sand to get an idea what the new garden could look like, and in doing so identified some dimensioning errors in our original drawing. Ho hum, need to double check the rest now I know those are wrong.
