Seals of Puffin Island

Finally did the Puffin Island cruise, I have tried to do since September last year.  Then we were told the puffins had mainly left the island for the winter, this time of year,  sigh.  Have to come back next year, in July, to see them.  But did see several seals.  Including this mother, in the photo.  Her cub was behind her, hidden by her and being in a dip in the gravel.  The boat didn't go too close to her, partly not to scare her and avoid grounding the boat on the shingle.  So I make no apologies for the quality of the photo.  Since to get it sharper would risk scaring her from getting too close ( and I can't afford a zoom lens that gives more detail than this one ).
