Teamwork

The new digs back onto a canal. Since this is the Desert, these canals were built by the developers as a neighborhood amenity, and it seems to have worked. Some of the homeowners have party barges moored at the bottom of their gardens and the birds love the abundant fish. We have big flocks of neotropic cormorants which work together, herding the fish. The egrets show up in droves to take advantage. It’s quite a show.
