Les Orangeries at Lussac les Chateaux

Came off th.e ferry at St Malo at 08:30 and headed off south past Rennes and Poitiers for our first stay at Les Orangeries.  We discovered it last year and it really is a delight, with wonderful grounds, great and quirky rooms and a very good dining room and menu.  I am very fond of piggy!

There are some great walks around with pre-historic remains and medieval bridges and buildings.  Worth a stay if you are driving that way!
