Autumn Still Life

I probably spent way too much time on this today, but then again, why not? It started out rainy and humid, and my one appointment was canceled, so I spent the time with my tripod and lamps.  I really didn't know what I was doing, and must have tried 50 different combinations of subjects, before settling on this one.  Thank you JDO, for hosting Mono Monday, and for the still life theme.  It was quite a learning experience, having to establish a composition, and then trying to get decent lighting.
