Marathon girls

Marathon done! Started off well but at mile 12 my calf was twinging and I said to Carolyn go. Despite her protests at not wanting to leave me, I said go.
By mile 22 I didn't just hit the wall it crashed over me. I rang Dave in tears saying I don't think I can do it, I was in pain and at that point never wanted to run again. A Team Penno pep talk and I carried on. Praying for the miles to pass by quickly.
As I came towards the finish and saw my family I just burst into tears. 4:48 super chuffed with that time and that I had finished. Off to find my marathon girl who had an amazing first marathon. Will I do another one? Give it a day or two ;)
