Evening Primrose!

This plant never ceases to amaze me! Every part of it from root to seed is edible and highly nutritious! My research said that the flowers open in the evening, hence the name, but up till tonight I only ever saw them in the morning! I would collect them every morning before the sun shriveled them. But my friend, Stephanie suggested I take a look after dark to see if they opened at night - and much to my surprise there they were! What a delight!
