I wish......

.....they'd actually knocked on the door

.....they realised 7.25am was maybe a little bit early and a time when the aged addressee might still be struggling into her underpinnings.....I did however hear the van door slamming and them driving off at speed.....

.....they'd actually delivered it on the right day (it was supposed to be coming tomorrow)

'It' is a 35mm slide scanner by the way, can't wait to try it out but I'll have to tether my impatience until it's 'redelivered' on Thursday now (needless to say I'll be setting the alarm and standing on the doorstep from 6am onwards.......with a thermos of coffee!).....I'll report back when I've given it a whirl!
