Apex Park

This was the park where we spent much of our childhood, gum nut wars, dog walking, extreme biking...

It's become a lot more polished now, the dangerous old forts long ago deconstructed, a new teenage playground and skateboard park, even the grass looking lush and cared for now (the cracks once so big you could almost fall down them).

Unfortunately, the scooters had been left in Irks car (now at the library) so the children had to be content with imaginary skateboards and unconventional cricket practice.

The gravel path up to the park is still a hazard though - extremely steep and slippery.

No sixers on this occasion.
