Growing by Numbers

The Sunflower is dying. It's parting gift, will be a little pile of seeds to feed the birds over the coming winter months. The grass has had it's last cut of the season, just need to trim my bush, since it looks like a burst mattress!
If you look carefully you can see the start of a Fibonacci Curve in the head of the Sunflower. Its funny how most things can be described mathematically. Maybe the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is stuck inside PI somewhere amongst it's never ending, never repeating trail of numbers...

I've also had a song stuck in my head all day - and it's annoying me! Keep thinking it's Bad Manners or something like it (early 80s), but a quick search of UChoob didn't bring up anything remotely like it. It goes like this...

"Da Da da Da! Da Da Da Da Da Da! Dum De Da De Dum De Da...."
