Frustrating Fungi!

I've no idea what they are but I know that they're not puffballs, fly agarics or shaggy inkcaps.
I did have a look on Google but there were just too many look alikes for me to single out this group.

It's been rather wet and windy this afternoon ... the leaves on my aced are still clinging to the branches but if the wind continues it won't be long before my front grass becomes a red carpet.
