Meet my new...

outside pet....Charlotte.  The other day I noticed an orb web outside the window by the back door.  I didn't have the heart to take it down, hoping that one day I might get some droplets on it but this morning the spider was rebuilding the web.  It was fascinating watching her rebuild the web and  how she joined it all together.  It was windy as well so was surprised how it did hold together.  Now to wait in the hope that she catches something.
