At last!!

Pootled around in the morning then headed to airport in what I thought was plenty of time.  Murphy's law - their flight was a little early and I only just made it in time to watch them land.  

Absolutely wonderful to finally have T here in NZ with me :)  It's great that her friend A was able to come too as she's a seasoned traveller and very used to the workings of large international airports!  It's the first time T has ever been here so I'm hoping the next 2 weeks will be thoroughly enjoyable and lots of fun.  

After a long 26 or so hour flight and arriving early afternoon it seemed like a good idea to head to Rabbit Island for a leg-stretching, lung-filling, eye-dazzling walk along the beach.  

Bed-time for the travelling duo was close to a 'regular' bed-time in the hope of getting into their new time-zone as quickly as possible.
