fishy flag

I have 2 good friends I do mail art exchanges with every month or two. Our current exchange is prayer flags! We made each other small 5"x8" fabric flags to hang on the porch or outside, to catch the breeze. The wishes (or fishes) and prayers we put into the flags while making them are said to be carried off into the breeze. The flag here is an extra one I made for Steve! I am sending out good wishes and prayers for successful fishing for him!!

The embroidered fabric with fishies was my grandmothers. She used these small linens, which I still have some of as cocktail napkins!
