This is the starting point of our walk into Santa Eularia where we have our Spanish lessons. From here we cross a bridge and walk along the promenade with the gloriously blue Mediterranean sea on our right and the town on our left. I think I might have learned more as a student at school if my journey to school had been more inspiring.

I had to say in Spanish that I had 6 children. Tengo seis hijos. This was greeted with surprise and claps. Then the teacher asked if they were all with the same woman.. In front of the whole class and with my wife of almost 40 years sitting beside me. I affirmed.
