Tyred out

This was a close one ! Jan was travelling home, this afternoon, when a white van coming in the opposite direction, shed the clamp that holds ladders on it's roof. Luckily, it missed the windscreen but went under the offside rear wheel, spun around and jammed itself in the suspension. J phoned me at home, to help and I had a real job to remove it. The photo is the inner side of the tyre. Phew !
