Tails

Lots of time at LAX this morning to watch the intricacies of airport operations. Saw this juxtaposition of airlines representing the last two states admitted to the U.S., Alaska & Hawai'i , developing as I glanced out the windows of Terminal 6 while getting some pre-flight exercise. Had to wait a bit for the Alaska plane to move into the perfect position before capturing the shot. I think it is somewhat ironic we fly to and from warm, sunny Mexico on an airline named after a cold, cloudy state, but they are the only ones who fly direct from LAX all year round.
