Covering the wall

This is probably the largest mural downtown. I've gotten a photo of it before, but this is with my new wide lens and full-frame camera, so a lot more of it can show.

I don't remember the story behind it, but it certainly looks to be Navajo themed. It deals with water, coal and pollution. The scenes appear to be from the land where I grew up.

Edit: I looked it up. "'Water Writes' is one in a series of 12 murals located in different parts of the world. The project explores issues surrounding the world’s most valuable resource — water."

More here: "The mural depicts water feeding vegetation, as well as coal-mining operations in the Navajo Nation."
