A detour prior to work this morning, to the Crown area of Inverness. The top part of the Raining Stairs has a building site alongside it, on the steep hillside above Castle Street. A challenging site for any kind of construction. One that's been derelict and overgrown for many a year.

An eye test was the reason for the detour. No change since the previous (two years ago) test, which considering my retinal issues history, is very good news. Just basic reading glasses, as before.

Did a few lengths of "legwork" in the pool on Monday night, and those legs have been distinctly weary, and lethargic today. Likely to do some more tomorrow... and be worn out all weekend. Peak pain has always seemed to come about a day and half afterwards.
