Works outing

A young colleague has been charged with organising cross-unit social events for staff. Today, we had an opportunity to be given a short introduction to and tour of the Centre for Research Collections at the Main Library in George Sq.

A very interesting visit that included a Robert Burns song, in his own hand, a medieval French illuminated manuscript, a Victorian medical student's record of study, boxes of Patrick Geddes' plans...
