Milky Way over Carnarvon Gorge

We found a ridgetop campsite with 360° views, including a small portion of the massive Carnarvon Gorge. The starry sky, with lightning flashing in the distance, was stunning.
We'd walked up to the Mossy Garden, in the Gorge, in the afternoon; a very pretty place, and some welcome shade, plus water. 36°
So many rivers and creeks are totally dried up.
