Today's back-blip is probably the same flower as yesterday, except today it has been taken of the plant and brought indoors by my better half to cheer the kitchen up.

This afternoon is the rather brisk wind we held the Community Orchard Fair in the village. Given the wind we did rather well with people and had a good turn out. I manned the apple and pear tasting stall and I think people enjoyed the Nouveau Poiteau pear in particular. It's a Belgian variety from the early 19th century and more popular on the European mainland than the UK, but it's a reliable cropper and a good garden plant.
