The turbine hall. Tate Modern

The hall has been turned into a playground by Superflex with giant swings. The less active can lie on a carpet made in the colours of British banknotes and gaze at the pendulum swinging with the movement of the earth. Apparently this is a space to contemplate the forces in our everyday lives and we are asked to gather here to think whether it is the weight of gravity or the economy that pulls us down. For me it's the weight of hunger. I am off to have lunch.
