Deer Candy

We have a very old apple tree growing out near the driveway.  Its fruit is always scabby and mottled and thoroughly unappealing to we humans, but the deer love them.  Once the fruit starts to fall to the ground, the deer come to feast each morning and evening.  This year they are in for a treat, because the tree is absolutely loaded down with a bumper crop!
