Save and sound

This activity to get the old gable out of the wall lasted all morning. I have asked my friend Jan, a local journalist, but he has no information.
In the building where the façade was incorporated into a wall was a community house, a labor office and the post office, my previous work environment. Of all this building was, the gable I would miss most.
It used to be the gable of the vicarage, which stood in the same spot before making way for the community house. It is made out of Limburgs chalk, very fragile. The vicarage probably too.
