In search of autumn colour..

My friend , Eric was over today and we went in search of autumn colours. However, it appears that we jumped the gun as very few trees as yet are displaying autumn colours and the period between summer and autumn is a bit drab for foliage. Furthermore there was a wild wind blowing so tree photography was a hit and miss affair and even when one of us was trying to hold branches still for the other to photography they were still moving a lot. So my blip goes to the other extreme and looks for some dynamism in a monochrome image where at least the club formations in the sky were on our side.
