Doncha just dig archeology

A team of archeologists have been doing a dig near Airth, on the banks of the Forth. There is not a great deal to see as yet but this is a slipway dating from the early 16th century, in the time of James IV of Scotland. Judging by all the wee flags on canes, there is a whole heap of digging still ahead.
The Scottish great ship, The Great Michael, was fitted out at Airth and subsequently prompted a medieval arms race with England who responded with the"Mary Rose".
This morning we met up with Fiona and James in M&S and had tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. James sat well for a while but finally escaped (see today's extra) and poor Fiona had to chase him halfway round the store!
