Cold... Colder... Coldest?

-32c at home this morning. At a friend's, 30 minutes away, it was -42c. No windchill involved here mister!! Someone said it's the coldest it's been since 1957!! This morning, Hydro-Québec beat its record for electricity consumption! And they say it'll last all weekend.

That's what the 'Baie-des-Chaleurs" looked like earlier today. Plenty of steam from the water rising into the cold air. Do I need to tell you that "Chaleurs" means warmth.

Nevertheless, I'm hell bent on giving skiing a shot after work. Didn't go last night and regretted it. That should produce some heavy frozen whiskers on my face.
