St Cyrus

We drove down to St Cyrus and had a walk along the beach. Its amazing the places that are on your doorstep that you never get round to visiting . We walked along the near deserted beach and saw some peregrine falcons and fulmars ( I think ) and then had a coffee at a wee shop in St Cyrus . 
It was pretty dull and overcast ( thus the mono blip ) but the weather brightened up a bit so we decided to make a day of it and  make use of our NTS membership  so drove to the NTS property House of Dun   - an 18th C Georgian house designed by William Adam . We'd a guided tour and a wee walk in the garden -  well worth a visit if you are in the area .
