Knaresborough Railway Viaduct...

... is probably the most photographed man-made structure in these parts. So much so that the local camera club dissuades members from entering photographs of it in club competitions.

I don't photograph it often but it looked good with the autumn colours. 

It stands 78ft above the water and, in 1848 when the building of the viaduct was almost complete, the structure collapsed. It took over three more years to finish it.
