Reasons For Breaking A Journey

Fabulous weather and after coffee + one small ice with pals  at Cafe Mauritius it was off to Brandenburg.Destination was known until I saw this amazing tower ( dereliction) at Werder (Havel) Locating it  much more was found. Astonishing abandoned houses , with enormous gardens and wonderful architecture.One is being restored . Met a lady with kilos of walnuts gathered from a tree near to the tower. She had no idea re the history as she too lived in Berlin. Extra is a house with a view  What a front garden to enjoy meals , views and relaxation.
