Today’s...

Jolly jaunt was to Eltham Palace.

We have been saying for the last few weekends we must use out NT or English Heritage cards but never did... until today. Mr C read about Eltham Palace and wanted to visit. So visit we did.

A trek from SW to SE London and the sun came out to make for a glorious day. A royal palace between the 14th and 16th C, all that remains now is this 15th C bridge, the great hall and ruins of the palace walls. In the 1930’s a couple built an ultra modern Art Deco house with all the mod cons, very advanced for the era. We both very much enjoyed our day.

I blipped the bridge (and trees) as I may use it for the blip community challenge. I have added a collage to the extras for you to see. (Added to challenge)
