Rainy day

I was swimming in the rain today and after coming out of the pool I began to walk up the steps of the deck and saw this spider web glistening with rain drops. I would never have seen it if not for the rain and the angle of light.
Every web begins with a single thread, which is hard to believe looking at this. That single thread forms the basis of the rest of the web.

I'm not a fan of spiders but I can't help but be impressed with this amazing maze.
