Lenham Chalk Cliffs

Lovely Sunday stroll along the North Downs Way to the Lenham Chalk Cliffs this afternoon. The place has been designated a place of special scientific interest for its 'Lenham Sands' giving scientists a better understanding of how the land has changed throughout history.

I climbed up the pathway to a grassy hill top covered in mossy plants and wild flowers, which reminded me of the Scottish Highlands. A herd of sheep ran across my path and settled on the hill below.

There was a crisp bite to the wind but the sun shone brightly and I felt warm on my 3 mile walk.
