Just a Cardinal

Cardinals are usually all over our yard, but I have to say, they've been a bit scarce lately.  I do wonder where they go.
I've been working at the kitchen table this morning, watching the big buck that I blipped a few days ago, resting in the corner of the yard.  He's been lying under the rhododendron for hours.  I guess he's saving up his energy.
