A thankless task!

Our Grounds Team will be extra busy clearing up all the debris flying around campus during the blustery weather.

We escaped the worst of Ophelia. We had a very weird sky in the morning - kind of sepia toned. Then it brightened up and gave us some sun, before the wind picked up. It is not very strong here though. We have escaped very lightly compared to some other parts - especially Ireland where several lives have been lost.

Looks like wet weather is next on the schedule. At least the wind dies down then which will mean people can actually put a brolly up.

Nina enjoyed a nice lunch out with Mum and Dad and then Leo enjoyed being met from School by his Aunty Nina and Grandma. It is his first week of being dropped off and picked up outside the School gates, without the teacher having to have sight of whoever is collecting him. All good practice for when he moves up to the big School next year, and it is making him feel very grown up.

I think he is also working on impressing his Aunty Nina as mum says he came home and made himself a snack of crackers and salad - his useful attempts at snack making include sweets, chocolate and cake!
