still waiting for Ophelia

Very surreal atmosphere today. Still warm but hardly any wind and very grey. I went for a lunch time walk up Blackford Hill and back through the Hermitage. Still grey, but tinged red. Occasionally a very red sun showed through the grey. Apparently Ophelia brought sand from the Sahara which filters out the blue light. In the Hermitage I found a nice crop of fungi as I had hoped. 

The rest of the family is out and about. I used the opportunity to have classy toast with curried baked beans and finish the first version of my photo map. Quite cool, what a bit of java script and the flickr API can do. I wish blip had a CORS enabled API as it used to...
