Kinski pub, Sopot

A bar in the childhood home of Klaus Kinski in Sopot, Poland, featuring many photographs and paintings of the late, great actor. Anyone who has seen My Best Fiend, Werner Herzog's tribute to Kinski, will know that the actor was often maniacally confrontational.
It would be reasonable to expect to be spat at by the bartender in a true Kinski theme bar, or perhaps have a monkey thrown in your direction with infinite disdain. However, the staff couldn't be more welcoming, instantly offering you to have your photo taken behind the bar as soon as you express an interest in Kinski. An unusual theme for a bar (not entirely maintained by the Shakira concert performance being projected onto one wall) but an admirable one.
